Where is the Discovery Group located?
The Discovery Group is 100% Canadian owned and operated. Our national headquarters is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba and we also have offices in Toronto, Ontario.
What are Discovery's regular business hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm (CST). We observe all regular holidays and are closed during these days. We also shutdown during Christmas for two weeks.

Does the Discovery Group provide technical support on all of its products?
Yes. We are pleased to provide our customers with technical support. Simply contact us during regular business hours and one of our imprinting experts would be happy to help.
Does Discovery offer training courses for screen printing applications?
In the past, we have offered this service. We are planning to hold training seminars in the near future, however there are no set dates as of yet. Please contact us directly if you have any questions.
Can I purchase products from Discovery in small quantities or is there a minimum order policy?
Yes, there is a minimum order policy of $20.00. Orders under $20.00 are subject to a $4.00 handling charge.
When I place an order with Discovery, can I add to my order once it has been processed?
Due to the speed in which orders are processed and our systemized manufacturing and shipping procedures, we regret that we are unable to add on, reduce or change an order. Please check for accuracy and completeness prior to placing your order.
Can I start a line of credit with the Discovery Group?
Credit is extended only to those customers with approved credit and to Government Agencies and Public Schools. Credit card or cash in advance for all other accounts without established credit.
What types of credit cards will the Discovery Group accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard or American Express.
How do I start a purchasing account with Discovery?
New customers are requested to send a cheque in advance or you may use your VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Allow one to two weeks to establish an account once we have received your credit application. Credit applications will be forwarded upon request. What is Discovery's policy on terms of payment?
Payment terms are net 30 days on approved credit, with 2% interest per month (24% per annum) charged on all overdue accounts. It is our policy to give priority to current accounts. Overdue accounts may find their order delayed or withheld until their account is brought to current status. Serious or chronic past overdue accounts may have their credit privileges cancelled.
Is there sales tax on products that I purchase from the Discovery Group?
All prices in this catalog are subject sales taxes where applicable. Our sales staff will be happy to answer any questions pertaining to these taxes.
What is Discovery's policy regarding shipping?
If a specific carrier is not requested we will usually ship via the most practical carrier per our judgement. All shipments are F.O.B. DISCOVERY PLANT, at point of shipping. Once a shipment has been accepted by a common carrier and we have obtained a signed receipt, our responsibility ends. All claims for damages should be made at the carrier's agent at destination. We will be glad to help trace all missing items. Make sure all cartons are in good condition before signing for them. In many cases smaller shipments are sent by Post, in which case we will insure against loss.
Will I be able to return a Discovery product for refund after purchase?
Goods cannot be returned without our permission and our Return Authorization Number must be marked on the package or shipment. If none exists, the returned product will be refused and returned at customer's expense. Requests for return authorization must be made within 14 days of shipment date. All returns are subject to a 25% handling and restocking charge, and will only be accepted if returned prepaid in good condition. Return authorization void after 30 days of date issued. Die Cut Letters, Numbers, Pennants, Banners and Custom Cut orders are not returnable.
Does the Discovery Group offer warranties on the products they sell?
The Discovery Group always stands behind their products and will replace any product that proves defective in material or workmanship within 30 days of shipment upon satisfactory proof of defect. We cannot be responsible for our products proving defective because of incorrect application or incorrect washing procedures. Also, we cannot be responsible for any garments which have been harmed by application of Discovery's product. It is always reccommended that extensive testing be done before final production runs.
