Can I purchase Discovery cutting/cresting materials in bulk?
Yes. All of the cutting/cresting materials offered by Discovery can be purchased in rolls. These materials include Flock, Durafilm II, Vinylbond, Satin Twill, Cotton Twill, Pro Twill, Non-woven white material (pennant grade) and welding film and teflon. You can purchase these materials in 2 yards, 5 yards, 10 yards, full rolls or in 10" x 11" packs of 5. The width of each material does vary so please contact us for more information.
What is the difference between Duracad Film and Durafilm II?
Duracad film has a carrier sheet or backing that allows it to be CAD cut. Durafilm II is similiar to Duracad except it has no backing and is used for die cutting.
What is a team set?
Team sets are specially packaged number sets that make ordering exact team numbers easier. When a sports team requires exact team numbers, a team set is the most economical option. Team sets can be ordered in Durafilm II, Pro-Twill, Pro-Stitch and Semi-Stitch - in 1, 2 or three colour combinations. Discovery also offers stock team sets with a pre-determined amount of numbers. What is the minimum amount for name bars or crests?
Name bars and crests are sold in packs of 10's and 20's. If you require an odd number of name bars or crests, please contact us directly for more information.
What is the difference between Pro-Stitch and Semi-Stitch?
Pro-Stitch is a pro twill material with a zig-zag stitch and glue backing that allows it to be heat sealed onto a garment. Semi-Stitch is a pro twill material with a zig-zag stitch that has to be sewn onto a garment. To learn more about Pro-Stitch and Semi-Stitch, please CLICK HERE.
How is Durafilm II different from Vinylbond?
Vinylbond letters and numbers come with a paper backing where Durafilm II does not.
