HEAT ACTIVATED HOT MELT POWDER ADHESIVES

Lancer's hot melt powders are heat activated adhesives that can be used for virtually any application requiring a heat applied system. When applied to transfers this greatly increases the washability of the product and the adhesion to garments made of synthetic fabric.

AVAILABLE SIZES: 1.1lbs (500g), 6.6lbs (3Kg) and 22lbs (10Kg)

COMPONENTS / APPLICATION FOR SUPERHOLD POWDERS

H-1: A medium grind hot melt powder. Melts quickly - ideal where fast application is required i.e. plastisol or water based puff transfers.

H-10: Superhold, very fine grind hot melt powder. Ideal for extremely fine detailed transfers. Fine lines won't get lost or pulled off.

H-15: Extremely coarse grind hot melt powder. Used primarily for covering large areas such as crests. Large particle size makes this powder easy to handle, providing a good bond for heat seal crests.

H-23: Multi-grind formula ideal for flock transfers.

Plastisol Transfers: Sprinkle Superhold Powder onto the wet ink, shake off excess and heat cure. (Use H-1 or H-10)

Crests: Sprinkle Superhold Powder onto back of crest and heat cure until adhesive is melted. (Use H-15 or H-10)

Flock Transfers: Sprinkle Superhold Powder onto wet adhesive, shake off excess and air dry. After drying brush off excess and heat cure. (Use H-23)

Puff Transfers - Plastisol or Water Based: Sprinkle Superhold Powder onto wet ink, shake off excess and heat cure at low temperature or if water based let air dry. (Use H-1)

Screen Mesh: All meshes up to 230 (92cm) mesh.

Mixing Instructions: Do not add powder directly to the ink as small lumps may form. Prepare a paste using the correct reducer for that ink type. Add the premixed paste to the ink and mix well.

TW1000 Multi Plastic Ink offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substances without using a catalyst or a two part system. TW1000 Multi Plastic Inks are almost universal in their application to materials such as tennis balls, fabrics, leather, wood, metal, plastic bottles and sheeting, Tyvec®, etc. TW1000 Multi Plastic Inks have a semi-gloss finish with great durability and flexibility. TW1000 Multi Plastic Inks are exceptionally resistant to soaps and chemicals.

Excellent printing results can be obtained on most nylon materials. For hard to print nylon, pre-treat the printing area with acetone to remove some of the water-proofing agent. Pre-testing is always recommended before starting a screen printing job. For maximum adhesion and performance on synthetic fabrics, TW1000 Multi Plastic Ink must be thinned to penetrate the substrate.
